Want To Lose Weight? Get Spicy with Dr Perricones Recommendations

Southern India Chicken Curry

This recipe incorporates some of Dr Perricones favorite spices. Serves 4-6.

Ingredients:

2 tbsp. canola oil
1 medium yellow onion, diced
3 tbsp. ginger, peeled and minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breast
1/2 red pepper, thinly sliced
3 cups coconut milk
2 cups organic chicken broth
1 cup cooked chick peas
2 bay leaves
2 tbsp. turmeric*
2 tbsp. curry powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. lime juice
hot chili sauce to taste
1/2 cup cilantro, chopped



Preparation:

  1. Lightly sauté onions, ginger, and garlic in oil in a large pot for 4 minutes.
  2. Cut chicken into 2-inch chunks. Add peppers and chicken to pot. Cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Add coconut milk, broth, chick peas, bay leaves, turmeric, curry powder, cinnamon, lime juice and chili sauce. Simmer for 30 minutes.
  4. Stir in 1/2 cup cilantro.

I first heard about the three spices to burn fat and beautify your skin on HLN.The three spices are cinnamon ,black pepper and turmeric.I started using the cinnamon and black pepper a week ago.I already feel my energy going up. I am going to start turmeric this week because I would like to improve the radiance of my skin.I have always loved Dr Perricone’s products but can no longer afford them.I would love to be a Perricone tester.

  2. I tried the diet for 3 days but can’t find your products here in Abu Dhabi/UAE… just a few and not the ones I need in Dubai.
    The difference in my skin was so much and I lost weight without being hungry, I was so happy that everyone was asking about it and I had the opportunity to share with a lot of my friends, but they didn’t try… I’m going to do it again with a flatmate. Maybe with her help I’ll get more girls to try. My flatmate is super fit so for her is only about aging. Sure it will work too! And after I’ll do the 28 days diet. All already organized! Wish to have the products here because I don’t trust in internet shopping. Please, bring the products here, I’m sure they must work! Dr. Perricone really knows the secrets.

  4. I would really like to become a Perricone tester! I have been suffering for many years with an over-active autoimmune system, which causes inflamation inside the body and hives, rashes and welts on the skin and pain in my joints. At times it gets so bad that I suffer from annafalactic shock. I am currently about 30-35 lbs over weight and am looking for new and alternative healing methods.I am tired of taking prescriptions that only cover the issues.

I have gained 30 lbs over the last few years and my C-Reactive protien levels come back really high showing too much inflammation in the body.
