Twenty-something? Begin Your Anti-aging Dr NV Perricone Regimen Now

When you’re in you 20s, your skin is naturally firm, smooth, and radiant; however, some signs of aging begin to emerge, such as tiny lines.

The main skin issues for most twenty-somethings are acne breakouts and puffiness due to late nights and a pro-inflammatory diet.

Read on to learn how to begin your anti-aging Dr NV Perricone regimen now to help treat inflammation and prevent skin damage.

What to Avoid

With just a few lifestyle changes, you’ll be on to securing a bright skin future.

Sun Damage

One of the most important skin-agers to avoid is sun damage, and in your 20s, it is important to make applying sunscreen a habit.

Wear a broad-spectrum, UVA- and UVB-blocking SPF every day. This simple step is one of the best ways to save yourself money in the future trying to reverse sun damage.

Dr NV Perricone No Foundation Foundation contains non-chemical SPF 30.

For additional sun protection, wear sunglasses to protect the eye area, where skin is the thinnest and most delicate and thus, the fist area where fine lines usually appear.

Smoking and Alcohol Consumption

Smoking and alcohol consumption can lead to premature aging signs.

Smoking causes blood vessels to constrict, which is a problem since this means skin is not getting the flow of blood and oxygen it needs. Further, smoking accelerates collagen breakdown and loss of elasticity.

Alcohol is problematic since it is very dehydrating, which causes skin to look dull and dry. Alcohol also causes inflammation, which accelerates aging inside and out.

Pro-inflammatory Foods

Foods that increase inflammation and puffiness, such as junk food, red meats, and fast food, should be avoided.

Inflammation is a problem because it induces skin damage. Inflammation is a way for your body to react to infection and foreign pathogens such as free radicals, but this same process can destroy tissue while it is trying to rebuild it. Inflammation can lead to a number of skin conditions, such as dermatitis, psoriasis, and acne.

Visible skin aging can be reduced and prevented with the daily use of anti-inflammatory Dr NV Perricone topical products, coupled with a diet rich in anti-inflammatory and antioxidant foods.

What to Include

Besides including an anti-inflammatory diet in your regimen, it is helpful to use topical treatments that will help avoid future skin problems.

First, treat acne and avoid acne scarring with a skin clear system like Dr NV Perricone’s Skin Clear regimen. What’s great about this line is that it helps treat acne without overdrying the skin, while it also provides anti-aging benefits.

Dr NV Perricone Skin Clear Hydrator is especially important since it encourages regeneration and renewal of skin’s appearance. Although skin cells refresh themselves quickly in your 20s, this helps speed up the process and glow. Skin Clear Hydrator also helps minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while increasing skin’s natural moisture.

  1. I have sagging skin on face and neck. neck wrinkles and verticle and horizontal creases around my mouth. What can I use for these creases?

  2. I try to live a clean lifestyle, choosing organic foods right now to the bottle of wine I buy. My main skin problems include enlarged pores which began during pregnancy, and dry skin which has plagued me for years. I use the Dr. Perricone Pore Minimizer which appears to work, and recently started the Skin and Body supplements. (I fear it might be too strong for me? If anyone can comment on this I would appreciate it.) I am 26.

  3. I have suffered from mild acne for the past 10 years (I am 24). It has never been severe enough to warrent more than topical medications however it is visible enough to cause a lowered self esteem and self conciousness at social events. For these reasons I have decided to devote my life to dermatology, and have just finished my first application to medical school. I have read about Dr Perricone and believe in what he is preaching, as a personal trainer and yoga instructor I know the benefits of his diet and health advice. I have tried most products and the acne always comes back regardless of my very clean diet. For these reasons I think that I am perfect Perricone Tester!

  4. I just discovered Cold Plasma and your Active Tinted Moisturizer – I love both! My skin is very sensitive, I previously used all Burts Bees products because anything else would be too harsh on my face. I love that Cold Plasma melts right into my skin and plays nicely with my other toners and moisturizers.

The Active Tinted Moisturizer is the best tinted moisturize I have ever used, it evens out my skin tone and gives me a wonderful glow without looking face or cakey, I get so many compliments on my skin! I can’t wait to try No Foundation Foundation. I am also really interested in this Skin Clear Hydrator because my skin tends to be dry in the winter months. I’m slowly becoming a Perricone addict!

  5. I’ve dealt with acne since the birth of my first child. I never had it as a teenager. I recently had my second child and it seems like it is getting worse :( I would love to be a tester. I would do anything to get my acne to go away and have clear skin again! I will be 25 in may and it would be a great present to have clear skin!! :)

  6. I would love to try this. I have just entered my 30s. I started using the Evening Repair and it is doing WONDERS for my skin. I have large pores and blackheads that are HARD to get rid of. The Evening Repair is already making a difference. I need a day cream and I think this may be the one to try.
