Perricone 3-Day Diet: Get a Face Lift…in Your Kitchen?

A healthy, anti-inflammatory diet aids in the elimination of puffiness and increases contours and firmness. Example Menu

Breakfast
3 egg omelet and/or 4-6 oz. grilled salmon.
½ cup cooked oatmeal (not instant)
2” wedge of cantaloupe or 1/3 cup fresh berries
8 – 12 oz. spring water

Lunch
4-6 oz. grilled salmon.
2 cups green salad (Romaine lettuce or other dark leafy greens with extra virgin olive oil and fresh squeezed lemon)
1 kiwi fruit or cantaloupe and berries
8 – 12 oz. spring water

Snack
1 apple
2 oz. slice of turkey breast or 6 oz. plain yogurt
Small handful of hazelnuts, walnuts or almonds

Dinner
4-6 oz. grilled salmon
2 cups green salad
½ cup steamed veggies. (Asparagus, broccoli, spinach, etc. No root vegetables, such as potatoes, carrots, or beets.)
Cantaloupe and berries
8 – 12 oz. spring water

Before Bedtime Snack
1 pear or apple
2 oz. slice chicken or turkey breast or 6 oz. plain yogurt
Small handful of hazelnuts, walnuts or almonds

  15. I’m going to be brutally honest here.
    This is the 3rd day of the diet and I’ve had to stop. I have no energy, I feel like a zombie, there is no change to my skin. In fact it looks worse and my eyes look like saucers.

    I followed this diet to the letter and got sick of the salty dry taste in my mouth from the salmon. No amount of water would make me feel hydrated. The diet was bland and I really couldn’t stomach a omelette, salmon, oats and fruit every morning. The one good thing is I’ve realised how to improve my own diet, but this diet just isn’t for me.

I was ready to have my Greek yogurt added back into my diet after finishing up but WOW the results are extraordinary for sure!!     Just got back from the south of France, after seeing all those fabulous women & their skin i am determined to follow suit… Your diet was appealing because of its healing and regenerating factors… going to my annual french convention this weekend so decided to give it a try…. and see if i notice a difference… and of course to look and feel great at the french convention!!!!   44. I first saw you on Oprah and bought your book straight after. I have used your 3 day diet off and on for many years. I did not do it to loose weight but to look and feel better. The weight loss was a added bonus. People always tell me i look fantastic when i am doing it. I know its a 3 day diet but i love it so much and it tastes so great that i tend to stick to it for weeks at a time. I must admit that i do add a couple pieces of dark choc as a treat now and then!

In 2 weeks I will be going to a big family wedding. 3 days before, I will follow this diet, eating lots of salmon, sardines, cherries, melons and blueberries.
