N. Perricone MD Regimen for Nourishing Sensitive Skin

Sensitive skin affects millions of people, and its symptoms vary. 4 distinct types of sensitive skin, all due to inflammation, have been identified: acne, rosacea, burning and stinging, and contact dermatitis (allergies and irritants).

Dr. N. Perricone formulated an assortment of products ideal for sensitive skin with nourishing olive oil polyphenols. Olive oil polyphenols are helpful in that they provide antioxidant protection to effectively nourish the skin. They also provide protection and hydration to the skin to help calm and soothe skin that is especially dry or sensitive.

Read on to learn about an N. Perricone MD regimen for nourishing sensitive skin.

Step 1: Gentle Cleanser by N. Perricone MD

Start your regimen by removing all surface debris with a cleanser. Dr. N. Perricone’s Gentle Cleanser, ideal for all skin types, leaves skin looking radiant and feeling refreshed.

Paraben-free Gentle Cleanser washes away all surface debris, including make up. Formulated with DMAE and olive oil polyphenols, Gentle Cleanser delivers anti-aging benefits and antioxidant protection.

Dr. N. Perricone recommends, for morning and evening use, gently massaging Gentle Cleanser into damp skin. Rinse off with lukewarm water.

Cleansing with Gentle Cleanser prepares your skin for other treatments from NV Perricone cosmeceuticals.

Step 2: Nutrient Fortifier by N. Perricone MD

Paraben-free Nutrient Fortifier by N. Perricone MD, which visibly delivers more radiant and glowing skin, is suited for all skin types including sensitive skin.

Formulated with olive oil polyphenols and DMAE, Nutrient Fortifier helps to prevent wrinkles and refine skin texture as it hydrates and nourishes skin.

Apply Nutrient Fortifier to cleansed skin in the morning and evening to the face and neck in a gentle circular motion.

Then, follow by applying a moisturizer suited for sensitive skin.

Step 3: Face Finishing Moisturizer by N. Perricone MD

Paraben-free Finishing Moisturizer is a lightweight, rich moisturizer formulated with 3 powerful anti-aging, antioxidants: alpha lipoic acid, DMAE, and vitamin C ester. These ingredients work synergistically to help firm skin’s appearance, minimize fine lines and wrinkles, and impart a visibly radiant and smooth appearance.

Apply Face Finishing Moisturizer liberally to the face and neck in the morning and evening over N. Perricone MD Nutrient Fortifier.

Follow with application of sunscreen with at least an SPF 15.

Once a Week: Hydrating Nutrient Mask by N. Perricone MD

For an instantly hydrated and rested appearance, smooth Dr. N. Perricone’s Hydrating Nutrient Mask over the face and neck, once a week. Wait 15 minutes and then rinse or tissue off the mask.

This moisturizing mask instantly imparts a healthy and radiant glow thanks to tocotrienols, a superior form of vitamin E that delivers antioxidant and emollient benefits to nourish and help repair sensitive or dry skin. This treatment also helps to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles with alpha lipoic acid.

Try Perricone for as little at $10.

The formulation also includes nourishing olive oil polyphenols to help protect the cell and calm and sooth sensitive skin.

  1. My 57-year-old skin is very sensitive and VERY dry. I’ve never liked to use creams on my face because they either sit there on the surface or feel greasy or are too smelly or get in my eyes or break my face out. Made From Earths Vitamin Enhanced Moisturizer does none of the above.

When I first put it on my face, my skin literally felt grateful; I don’t know how else to say it. There was no heavy odor, and my skin drank the moisturizer in like it was dying of thirst. It probably was! The first night, I kept putting on more until I felt my skin had had enough. After that, I’ve smoothed on just a little each night before bed.

I didn’t want to talk about the vitamin enhanced moisturizer until I’d used it a few weeks, and now that I have I’ve got to say I absolutely love it. My face looks brighter, my skin feels good, and yet it’s like I don’t have anything on my face. It’s like my own skin, but 20+ years younger. I don’t wear makeup, so I don’t know how makeup would do on top of this, but I can’t imagine it would do anything but improve your appearance.

    Highly recommended product.

  2. Hello. I have very sensitive skin as well as eczema. I just turned 40 so I am looking for products that are healthy and very moisturizing. Most of the time, when I try a new moisturizer, about a half hour after applying it, my skin feels tight and dry.
I would love to become a tester – I have never tried Perricone MD products before but have heard and read rave reviews about his products.
I currently use Jurlique, which is very thick and heavy – good for winter
Your blog seems very informative! I would love to try these products!

  3. I am a 39 year old male and I have suffered with acne for over 20 years. I avoid social activities often, as my skin condition depresses me to no end. I have seen many dermatologists in my life and most have stated diet is not a contributing factor to acne. As an acne sufferer for so many years I know different. I was fortunate enough to see Dr. Perricone briefly in Connecticut many years ago. I have brief periods of clear skin, but then massive outbreaks which can often be cystic. I have been on cycles of antibiotics for nearly 2 decades, and I worry what damage this has done to me internally. Acne has literally ruled my life and causes not only emotional pain, but physical pain as well. As I get older my skin shifts from oily and outbroken to chronically dry and outbroken. I don’t know where else to turn, and could desparately use Dr. Perricone’s help.

  4. I’d love to try this. I suffer from all 4: acne, rosacea, burning and stinging, and contact dermatitis (allergies and irritants). I have a tough time buying products as they can flare up 1 or more of my symptoms. Thanks.
