3 Perricone MD Cosmeceuticals Suited for Redness

Skin redness due to external factors such as sun and wind is natural, but prolonged redness can indicate severe damage to the skin. For example, even mild redness over a prolonged period of time promotes wrinkle formation and discoloration.

Fortunately, there are a number of Perricone MD cosmeceuticals that are perfect for treating redness so you can avoid further damage.

1. Cold Plasma

Cold Plasma from Perricone MD Cosmeceuticals is formulated to treat the 10 signs of aging, including redness. Formulated with advanced neuropeptide technology to deliver powerful anti-inflammatory effects, Cold Plasma also provides superior hydration thanks to DHA, a powerful essential fatty acid. With these ingredients, Cold Plasma helps to soothe redness. As an added bonus, Cold Plasma also includes DMAE to help lift, tone, and re-contour skin’s appearance.

2. Advanced Face Firming Activator

Advanced Face Firming Activator from Perricone MD Cosmeceuticals helps to minimize redness by moisturizing and treating imperfections and uneven skin tone, formulated with alpha lipoic acid and sodium hyaluronate.

Alpha lipoic acid helps to:

  • Diminish fine lines, wrinkles, and discoloration
  • Refine skin texture
  • Reduce pore size, puffiness, imperfections, and uneven skin tone

Sodium hyaluronate helps to:

  • Lock in moisture to help diminish the appearance of lines and wrinkles
  • Hydrate to renew suppleness in the skin

Like Cold Plasma, Advanced Face Firming Activator also includes DMAE to help tighten and tone skin.

3. Pigment Corrective Topical

Hydroquinone-free Pigment Corrective Topical from Perricone MD Cosmeceuticals is formulated with pycnogenol to help:

  • Improve skin health
  • Renew collagen
  • Brighten skin

Try Perricone for as little at $10.

Pycnogenol, which provides potent antioxidants, is sourced from maritime pine trees in the South of France known for centuries old-healing properties.

Like the other 2 NV Perricone MD cosmeceuticals suited for redness, Pigment Corrective is formulated with DMAE to help lift and provide re-contour skin losing elasticity. It also includes vitamin C ester to help impart a radiant, smooth and luminous appearance while diminishing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and discoloration.

This cream is an ideal complement to all Perricone MD cosmeceuticals as it improves skin health and leaves it looking absolutely radiant. Achieve optimal results by using Pigment Corrective Topical with Pigment Corrective Supplements.

  1. I would love to be a tester.

I have been diagnosed with rosacea and have had metro gel and finacia prescribed in the past. The fiancee actually irritated my skin further and itched. The metro gel hasn’t done much and the sticky consistency makes it useless for daytime wear under foundation. As I work in a professional field, I need to have a decently well- groomed appearance and so use some foundation daily to cover up redness and to even out blotchy skin tone. I also have some brown spots as a result of having grown up in the South and having spent time out of doors in the hot sun during my childhood and teen years..

I am considering trying Perricone products but am concerned that my skin will react poorly as it seems to do to almost everything.

I started the Perricone 28 day diet today and am hoping to see some results from that as well.

  2. I am 31 years old and have been dealing with rosacea for the last 4 years. I have had this disturbing problem handed down to me from my mother. I am looking for that diamond in the ruff that can help treat and beautify my skin. I believe my wait could be over. Please help me in finding it so I can “hand” this back to my mom. I would love to pass this on to her. Thanks, Jacklyn.

  3. Hi,

I have had red skin and flushing for years.
Over the last year I have also had small bumps breaking out on my cheeks and nose. At times my face just feels inflamed.

This inflamed feeling also happens when I get in a car that has been setting in the sun, or when I am meetings over one hour in board or office rooms. It is uncomfortable and embarrassing.

Many facial creams and sunscreens also make me extremely red. I am about to go get a prescription to treat the rosacea,
but would like to find some facial products that help sooth it as well.

    Thank you,

  4. will test rosacea products

  5. I have been struggling with my skin for years now, and I just was diagnosed with rosacea. I suffer from redness and breakouts. I would love to find products that improve my skin.

  6. I have been treated for Rosacea for over 8 years. I have seen dermatologists and taken prescriptions both internally and topically. Nothing seems to improve the condition on a long term basis. Extreme hot and cold really activate the redness. Lately, I’ve noticed more reddening especially with my sinus flare ups. Can you help?

  7. Diagnosis: Rosacea.

Treatments to date: topical antibiotics, special creams, serums etc.

Problem: still experience redness and flushing UNTIL I started using my sample of Cold Plasma.

Not sure if I am just imagining it, but my skin seems to be “happier”.

I am 41 with wild Irish skin – freckles, spots, rosacea, dryness, breakouts on my chin etc. Would love to be a tester.

  8. Pigmentation and redness are the primary skin problems I deal with on a daily basis. I have tried lots of products in hopes of eliminating the redness and pigmentation. I also use foundation / concealer daily which makes my skin very lackluster. I would like to find a solution to this problem.

  9. I wear concealer foundation and powder. You can still see the redness over the caked on make up. Its hard to cover it up. I feel that I look more like a clown than a woman. I’ve been told to use green concealer it doesn’t work, yellow doesn’t work. I would love to stop usi ng so much stuff on my face to hide the redness. I’ve done it all my life. If you can please healp me with this I would be greatful
